GR-PEACH from Renesas is an mbed enabled platform which combines the advantages of the mbed ecosystem and Arduino form factor

Important Notice


When specifying GR-PEACH and VK-RZ/A1H as the target platform and building mbed program together with mbed OS 5.5, the build should be failed with the description shown below:
As mentioned in the above, you will be able to re-specify GR-PEACH and VK-RZ/A1H as the target platform on mbed OS 5.6. Until then, you need to use mbed OS 5.4 release branch. With respect to the concrete way to checkout it, please refer to the following links:

If you import the existing mbed program on mbed Online Compiler, please DON'T check Update all libraries to the latest revision in order to prevent mbed OS from being updated to mbed OS 5.5 release branch unexpectedly.

  • How to specify the target platform on mbed online compiler
    Select GR-PEACH or VK-RZ/A1H and click the Select Platform button shown in the figure below: /media/uploads/HinoNaka/platform_selection_online.png

  • How to specify the target platform on mbed CLI

GR-PEACH、またはVK-RZ/A1Hをターゲットプラットフォームに指定し、mbedサンプルプログラムをmbed OS 5.5と組合わせてビルドした場合、以下に示すメッセージが表示されてビルドに失敗します。
上述の通り、GR-PEACH、および VK-RZ/A1Hはmbed OS 5.6にて再度ターゲットプラットフォームとして指定可能となります。それまではmbed OS 5.4のリリースブランチをチェックアウトしてください。またmbed OS 5.4 リリースブランチのチェックアウト方法に関しましては下記URLを参照ください。

mbed Online Compilerを使用して既存のmbedプログラムをインポートする場合、意図せずmbed OSがmbed OS 5.5リリースブランチにアップデートされる事を防ぐため、Update all librariesはチェックしないようにしてください。

  • ターゲットプラットフォーム 指定方法(mbed Online Compiler使用時)
    下図に示す通り、GR-PEACH or VK-RZ/A1H をターゲットプラットフォームに追加し、Select Platform ボタンをクリックしてください。 /media/uploads/HinoNaka/platform_selection_online.png

  • ターゲットプラットフォーム 指定方法(mbed CLI使用時)
    mbed compileコマンドのオプションに -m RZ_A1H or -m VK_RZ_A1H を指定してください。 /media/uploads/HinoNaka/platform_selection_offline_rz_a1h.png


The RZ/A1H includes an ARM® Cortex™-A9 processor along with the integrated peripheral functions required to configure a system.

The RZ/A1H includes a 32-Kbyte L1 instruction cache, a 32-Kbyte L1 data cache, and a 128-Kbyte L2 cache. This LSI also includes on-chip peripheral functions necessary for system configuration, such as a 10-Mbyte large-capacity RAM, 128 Kbytes data-retention RAM(shared by the large-capacity RAM), various timer function, realtime clock, serial communication interface(UART), I2C bus interface and graphics related functions etc.
