What this Means:

This Error seems to occur when the build system is down. You will occasionally get -250 as well when this is happening.

How to Fix:

There doesn't seem to be any fix for this error other than waiting for the build system to be fixed, which usually happens within a few hours.

I can't compile anything. The mbed hardware is ok. As a work around I have created another user account and now it works perfectly...

Try to reload page and rebuild.
