The mbed Online Tools are split into two main parts:
The mbed Developer Website¶
This is where you are now, if you are reading this page. It's a community website designed to both give you the information you need to work with mbed and also to help the community work together whether that is by sharing code or providing help by answering questions.
The mbed Compiler¶
This is where you write your code which runs on your mbed. This area is private to you and no one else can see it. Think of it as your local PC. Nothing can move from the mbed Compiler to the public website unless you tell it to.
The mbed Tools System¶
Although both parts are seperate, they work together in various ways to help you collaborate with other users and reuse code that other users have written. Have a look through the pages on the right to find out more.
