Is the port still showing up in Device Manager as this link indicates? I have seen the virtual COM port mappings get changed if the device is reconnected to a different USB port so maybe you just need to use a different COM port id in TeraTerm.

The serial driver locks to the mbed serial number - If you change mbeds you need to re-install the driver.

My serial port stopped working. I cannot print anything. I erased Teraterm and then redownloaded it and installed it - no joy. Any pointers here?
