Mbed OS Tech Forum: From Prototype to Production-Ready Hardware and Code

Happy New Year everyone! We’re excited to be back with our second session of the Mbed OS Tech Forum – a monthly live stream for you to connect with Mbed OS maintainers and developers, ask questions, share feedback and projects, plus hear about the Mbed OS roadmap.

During this week’s live stream, we will be joined by George Beckstein, Embedded Software Engineer at Embedded Planet and Garrett LoVerde, IoT architect and long-term Mbed OS contributor. We will discuss what it has taken for these developers to go from inspiration to prototype and production quickly using Mbed OS and how they’ve been contributing to the Mbed OS ecosystem. The session will include a presentation of Embedded Planet’s Agora IoT platform.

During the second half of the stream, we will share what the Mbed OS team will be working on for the next three months and will give you the opportunity to ask questions, raise an issue and share your ideas. We’re so eager to hear what you have to say. We value your experience and knowledge, and encourage you to contribute to the Tech Forum – we look forward to hearing from you this Wednesday!

If you missed last month’s Tech Forum about Mbed OS going to space, you can catch it on-demand here. The session included an update on the new features being implemented in the Mbed CLI 2 CMake based build system, plus a keyword spotting tinyML demo running on an NXP device with Mbed OS and TensorFlow Lite.

The Mbed OS Tech Forum takes place every second Wednesday of the month at 5pm GMT/9am PT (5pm UTC). Here are some links to bookmark so you can set a reminder for each session and contribute to the Tech Forum discussion:
