Thanks Bill, I did see that but my Japanese is a bit rusty :) I don't think they send outside of Japan, but how can you tell. I have bought from Japan with no problems in the past and would do so again. There will an element of import duties but not horrendous as these are around £40 (that's converting the Yen price).

They should edit the platform page and indicate the supply situation continuously. It is the responsibility of the platform vendor to keep their platform page up to date not Mbed. I administer the Teensy3.1 platform page that is not yet fully enabled and this notification can very easily be done.

It's an exciting product and many of us want to get hands on with it, so come on guys keep us informed. Farnell is a good world wide distributor and operate in many countries, these guys will stock bucket loads given the opportunity. There are many others distributers too.

So I have just finished a conference with Renesas and the GR-Peach was here. Very cool. I tried to get them to give me one but they would not. They insisted the board *will be* available by the end of the year in the US. I really want one and the video capture board system they have as well!! Hello, Renesas, are you listening????

Bill, It's fairly difficult to get ahold of one. but it is possible. but until the end of the year it will be nigh on impossible :/
