Current of mbed

The current consumption of mbed was measured.

Measurement condition

  • Input voltage: 5V(Supply it from self power USB hub to VIN of mbed).
  • The test environment: LED of four every five seconds is lit one by one. This is repeated.
  • It takes the average measuring it five times.

Unit:mA

Understood thing

  • When LED is not lit at all, the current consumption of mbed is about 139.10mA.
  • When all of the four LED on the mbed substrate is lit, current consumption is about 147mA.
  • Current consumption goes up by about 2mA at the time of each lighting LED 1 piece.

mbed の消費電流を測定してみました。

測定条件

  • 入力電圧：5V(セルフパワー USB ハブから、mbed のVINへ供給)
  • テスト環境：５秒おきに、４つのLEDを一つずつ点灯していくの繰り返し。
  • ５回測定し、平均を取る。

分かること

  • LED無灯火の場合の mbed 消費電流は約 139.10mA
  • mbed 基板にある４個の LED 全てを点灯させると、消費電流は約147mA
  • LED１個の点灯につき、約2mA程度消費電流が上がる。

Hi could you please also post translation as im not that good to read japanese but i would like to know the readings of mA for the mBed. Arigato! :)
