Daplink Firmware on DVK-NCS3510-MBED-GEVK

Checking the current version

The latest daplink firmware for the DVK-NCS3510-MBED-GEVK platform is: 0243
To check your daplink interface firmware version:

  • Connect the DVK-NCS3510-MBED-GEVK board through USB, open the resulting attached drive
  • Open the DETAILS.TXT file , note the number after "Interface Version: "

Updating to a newer version

Bootloader mode

To update the daplink firmware, the board must be in bootloader mode. To put the board into bootloader mode:

  1. Disconnect the board from the computer
  2. Press and hold down the reset button, see picture below for location

  3. Plug the board back in
  4. The resulting mbed drive should mount as "Maintenance" as shown in the picture below

Update the firmware

  1. Copy the updated firmware image to the mounted "Maintenance" drive
  2. Unplug and replug the board to force a power on reset (do not press reset this time)
