Problems downloading stlink v2 driver from the st website

I am not able to download the stlink v2 driver software from the website. The validation link in the email from st doesn't work. I tried registering an account but the validation link for registering doesn't work either. The online support is practically useless since it requires me to have an account with them to access it! I am out of wits here. Any ideas?

Works, just tried it.

Once you have registered you have access to all the software and demos from ST, its quite handy.

Click on it and click on the download button at the bottom and if you are not logged in it will ask you for your login name and password, after that and a few seconds you will get a save download notification to save somewhere on your PC. Its a ZIP file, Unzip it and double click the exe file (amd64.exe for 64bit PC).

Whilst the process is a bit more involved, the advantage here is that the ST-Link program allows you access to manual MCU programming features that not many others do and also the ST-Link programming MCU on your board will program any STM32 series MCU's, its not Target dependent. Its not only for Mbed.
