u-blox C027 crashes when copying a program to the mbed drive

I recently bought a u-blox C027 and cannot copy any compiled .bin program to the mbed drive. When something is copied, the device crashes, is ejected and remounted again and then contains a file: fail.txt which contains the word TIMEOUT.

I already upgraded the firmware to 2.0.1 (23 Apr 2014) according to https://developer.mbed.org/users/ublox/notebook/ublox-C027-Update-CMSIS-DAP-Interface-Firmware/ but that does not help.

I have tried the board on Mac OS X Yosemite, Mac OS X El Capitan, Windows 7 and Windows XP but the problem is the same everywhere.

Any suggestion would be appreciated.

Best regards, Dirk

Question relating to:

The u-blox-C027 is a complete starter kit that allows quick prototyping of a variety of applications for the Internet of Things. The application board has a MAX-M8Q GPS/GNSS receiver and …

And you have a power supply connected? That board needs both an external power supply and USB to be connected. Without the external power supply you'll get exactly what you are seeing. Without the USB but with external power it will be unreliable.

Yes, both USB and external power supply (12V) were connected to the board.

I have the same issue with ublox c027 and I'm connecting both the 12v power supply and the USB but still getting this text file fail with TIMEOUT.

Also am trying to compile the hello world program but am getting error in c027_api library.

Any help in these two issues please.
