Is this compatible with the HY28B? The HY28A has been discontinued.

I used this library in an internal production test fixture last year. I need to build a couple more of these test fixtures for our production department but the HY28A has been discontinued and replaced with the HY28B.

Has anyone tried this?

Thanks,

Mike

I compared the ILI9320 and ILI9325 datasheets. As usual, there are different datasheet versions available.
However, it seems to be possible to use the ILI9325 instead of the ILI9320 by just changing the LCD initialization function.
I ordered the ILI9325 board (ebay item 171201078046 - it can take up to 3 weeks before i get it).
Meanwhile, i will update the code to auto-detect the LCD type and use the corresponding initialization sequence (=untested feature).
As soon as i get the LCD, i will run a real test.

Edit : library init sequence has been updated to support the ILI9325 and ILI9328

Hi Frank,

Thanks for the updates! I'll get a couple of the new displays on order as well to test.
