Chrome/Windows Attachment Manager setup to enable mbed compiler download directly to the K64F?
Hello,
I just got my K64F and have been attempting to use the mbed compiler to save a *.bin directly to my K64F that is F: drive. I'm getting "Download Error" and the Chrome help page has several references to the "Windows Attachment Manager" settings as being the culprit.
Can anyone suggest specific settings or a FAQ link?
Thanks, KRH

All I did was go to advanced settings and change the location to point to the drive letter for mbed, although this has the downside of sending ANY download to mbed. Alternatively just check the box "Ask where to save each file before downloading"
I already had the "Ask where to save each file before downloading" checked and was choosing the "F:" drive which is the K64F on my Windows Vista computer. This is when the consistent "Download Error" was occurring. I did try the advanced setting to constantly point to F: (at least while I'm on mbed.org) and it did seem to enable the direct download to occur intermittently between alternating "Failed - virus scan failed" and "Failed - Insufficient permission".
I've disabled my AVG "until the next reboot" so it shouldn't be causing the "...virus scan failed". I'll try some of the other things on <https://support.google.com/chrome/answer/2898334?p=ui_download_errors&rd=1> to see if I can make the download error free all-the-time.
Stupid question maybe; but when the download appears to be error free I can momentarily see the downloaded file name in my Windows Explorer showing the F: drive. The file name remains there for maybe 5 seconds or so and then it disappears. Is the mbed system running on the K64F maybe loading the file into its code execution space and then deleting the file from the drive which would explain this observation?
