LPC800-MAX from NXP is an mbed enabled platform which combines the advantages of the mbed ecosystem and Arduino form factor.

Using LPC800-MAX for external programer

28 Aug 2014

For your information.

For convert the LPC800_MAX board in a external programer, you need to remove the 0 homs false resistor, R23. This cuts the power to the microcontroller LPC812, and you can use the SWD debug connector for program your external projects.

You can then restore power soldering a 2x1 header and closing it with a bridge.

See NXP LPC800-MAX Schematic (https://mbed.org/media/uploads/sam_grove/lpc812_max_schematic_rev3.pdf) page 2.
