mbed LPC1768 burnt

Hi,

On my testing due to some polarity changes the lpc1768 burnt.I changed the LPC1768 with LPC1766 i wants to know is there independent firmware is there for 1766 or if we changes the controller is there any procedure available there to follow.Is it recommended to changes the controller alone???

Hi Sathish,

If you replace the LPC1768 on your board with another LPC1768 part, then all should be fine. But you can't swap it for different variants (e.g. LPC1766).

The LPC1768 part is just off the shelf with no special firmware, by design.
