BIN2Hex Problem

I have been using BIN2HEX for some time with no problem, but got pushed into using a different computer (HP Pentium 4 running XP) and find that BIN2HEX will not run. I downloaded a fresh copy from Keil, still no joy. Tried another computer, IBM Pentium 4 running XP) and it worked fine.

From the command line on the HP I get this error message

Cannot execute C:\mbed work\BIN2HEX.EXE

What can be blocking it?

There shouldn't be a problem, Assuming you are using 8.3 file names. And possibly a short folder name.

Have you attempted running it from the root ?

Although, there is a small possibility that you don't have 'permission' But that is a windows 7 nightmare.

But anyway the command is bin2hex source.bin Target.hex

Problem was space in folder name Changing C:\Mbed Work to C:\MbedWork fixed it
