PWM Speech synth.

Has anybody experimented with writing an onboard speech synth using PWM?

I've found some AVR source which I'm attempting to port, but just a check in case I'm re-inventing stuff.

I don't think there is anyone here who has developed code for that.

Is the AVR code somewhere online?
In that case, can we get the source?

To be honest I'm on a steep learning curve here(PWM,Speech & AVR), so I cant work very fast. I'll play with until it works, or something easier comes along.
