not possible to import a program nor a library from mbed server

If I try to import a program or library in "my program workspace" , I do not get the overview of the mbed available progrmas/libraries. I always get "there has been a problem querying the server"

See here. The current workaround is to search for the URL manually, and import via URL.

How to import a program like "TextLCD_HelloWorld"

  • start at mbed.org
  • click "enable beta mode" via http://mbed.org/betamode/
  • click on the new "code" tab that became available at http://mbed.org
  • click on Programs or Libraries ==> libraries
  • click on "TextLcd" ( library )
  • click on the program "TextLCD_HelloWorld" in the section "Related to"
  • click "view latest revision"
  • click "import this program"
  • list of programs/libraries is presented in your "program workspace"
  • click on import

Hi all,

We are aware of the problem and are investigating, with a fix to follow ASAP. Sorry for the inconvenience.

In the meantime the workaround above will work, essentially:

1. Find program/library on mbed.org (betamode will make it easier)

2. Click 'import this program'

3. Continue as normal

Will add any updates I have to this thread.
