Printing from compiler window

10 Sep 2009

A simple question (I hope) - I am using Safari on a Macbook and have a program occupying more than one screen. How do I print the code - Safari only shows the current window for printing, not the scrolling frame. 'Show source' is greyed out. So do I have to cut and paste my code into a text editor to print it out?

Good question! Yes, the way to do it now would be to copy it in to your favourite package (or you could export the files to your desktop) and print from there.

But it might be nice to have a nicely-formated print view. Not a high priority, but we'll add it to the list.

Hello Simon,

what ever happened to that "nice-to-have" of printing from the compiler window? Any chance that it will ever become reality?

Hi John,

This has been added now - click the little printer icon in the toolbar...

Hope this is what you were after!
