LPC1768 Power Source (4.5v - 14v or 4.5v - 9v)

Picture above says its 14v, can anyone confirm this is wrong. As everywhere else says nine volts, so i assume this is typo. Also any recommendations on a 5v supply. I have tried a LM7805 1A reg, but it didnt seem to supply enough voltage from a car battery. Should I look at the LM7808 or are there better solutions for power here.

Anyway I have it powered up with a small switching style power supply now. Seems the LPC1768 wont work with the lm780x reg's
