Hello all,
I am in the process of embedding an mbed to a final design, in which the mbed will be powered by a 5.0V source through VIN. That connection is hard-wired in the mbed's host PCB. It will work standalone, but then I wondered, What if for some purpose somebody needs to plug the USB port of the mbed? Isn't there going to be some sort of "supply contention"?
I checked on the reference design, but besides the 3V3 LDO regulator, there is no display of how exactly is USB power routed to the LDO.
Thanks!
