I have the unique distinction of developing numerous innovative products across Electronica Group companies. Providing solutions to vexing EMI/EMC issues, reducing part count as well as developing new technologies and obtaining patents to face the challenges of market competition. I have single-handedly developed an economical CNC Controller for EDM products. This required developing a Hi-speed communications module, to interface with an IBM-PC based HMI, which displays the cut path in real-time. A custom Operating System to simultaneously move 4 Axes along G Code defined profiles to cut tapered or complex parts, while continuously monitoring the process in extremely difficult electrical conditions created by the Hi-energy spark discharges. This robust cost-effective platform is eminently suitable for Continuous as well as Reusable Wire-EDM, conventional Sinker EDM and EDM Drill products.
