mPong
.
Somebody had to do it... pong was required for mbed!
I basically used the Nokia 6610 LCD library example 'as is', added two linear pot's for analog input measurement to move the paddles around, and hey - we've got Pong!
You can play single, or dual player and ball speed as well as paddle size are relativelty easy to change.
What you'll need:
- Breadboard
- Nokia LCD 6610/6600
- Two pots and resistors, around 10K will do.
I'll update this post with a bit more info in case somebody else wants to use project to play around with thist. It should be an easy build as long as you can get your screen to work with one of the libraries. See the forum topic for help with this. (http://mbed.org/forum/topic/56/?page=1#comment-206)
Possible Future enhancements
- Clean up the code, comment a bit more?
- Sound
- Dynamic ball speed.
