Moving Along
I have recently dismantled the RSS Parser prototype. I learned what I wanted to learn from it so it was time to take it apart.
I am now playing with the uOLED-96-G1 (SGC) from 4D Systems. This is a .96"x.64" OLED. It is a very small screen that I intend to use for a variety of experiments. Eventually I will likely build a watch from it.
I now have a RFID ID20 and it's breakout board from Sparkfun. It is really easy to use and only took up an hour or so of my time, but it is very useful to have and I have some big plans for it. I have also obtained and played with 3 Easy Driver (4.3) boards and 3 Sparkfun stepper motors (Nema 23 I think). They work well but the power of the motors is disappointing. I am going to obtain a better power source however because all I had on hand was a 9 volt battery and I certainly expect that is why the motors are not performing well.
I am almost done my PCB design and will soon be sending it off to be printed. 20-25 days or so and I can find out how many mistakes I made.
