Summary¶

Below is a brief summary of how we conducted our project, hopefully this should provide a guide as to how we conducted the project where we faced difficulties (which are also featured in the setup wikis).

Day 1¶

We started by outlining exactly what our plan was from start to finish, assigning each of the pair a goal for each day.

Our initial idea had many more features than we ended up putting in, so we took some time to norraw these down and create an task list to progress from.

Day 2¶

The LCD display was wired as in the instruction wiki, and the time and date were displayed exactly as in the pictures.

Work started on the wifi module, which proved to be the trickiest component of the code.

Day 3¶

The touch screen was wired up as per the wiki, complications did arise and have persisted to the end.

The work on the wifi proved somewhat tricky, but we still persisted.

Day 4¶

The screens were linked and worked on the circuit board, although some circuit complications have caused issues.

The wifi is still causing issues, we may give up on that area of the device.
