Slave/Master using mbed microcontroller 1768

I'm attempting to use the 1768 as the master to another microcontroller. My issue is that I need it to write to specific addresses on the slave device, yet it doesn't seem like the write or read commands are that specific. Does anyone have any suggestions?

You need to be a little more specific. How are the two connected? Can you give the relevant sections of code (using <<code>> tags). Just saying you have two micros connected doesn't tell us anything about what you are doing.

How you have connected 1768 to another microcontroller? Without knowing that it is impossible to help.
