Is there an issue with the online compiler or saving a file?
Was able to compile my program, but all of a sudden getting a random error after adding a single line of code such as
"int x = 1;"
I've tried multiple unrelated programs and get the same result.
Any changes appears to cause the entire code to be removed from the file where the change has occurred. This appears in the revision history initially and if the file is closed and reopened all of the code has been deleted.

Thank you all for reporting the problem and commenting on it. We have made our web team aware of the issue!

Our web team has been working hard to restore services and we think the Compiler is now fully functioning. Please use this thread to report any further access or functional issues.

I am also getting a 502 Bad Gateway on the compiler. I don't see any updates on mbed.status.io

I still have this issue. I reinstated three files from the revision history and they seemed to be ok but, after a compile, they have become blank again.
I found a way around it. I reinstated the three files and saved them. I then came out of the compiler completely before re-opening it. This time when compiling the three files did not disappear.

I just lost all of my Program to what ever is going on. I also noticed that all the history from october to now is also gone. Oh BLANK.
posted by wp vickerman 29 Nov 2018I have a similar problem. The original code is in the revision history and when I copy and paste it back in and save it it appears to be fine. However if I close the tab then reopen the file the content has gone. This has happened on three files. I have tried deleting and recreating the file. I have tried pasting the code into Notepad++ first, where it appears fine, but it didn't help. Any one any ideas?
