What abut "Real Time"?
When I think of Mbed, I think of a real-time OS for embedded applications. So I assume an "Mbed Linux" would also be suited to real-time applications. But there are several ways to implement real-time in Linux.
Will this be based on PREEMPT_RT, RTAI, Xenomai or something else?
It would also be more than great if there was a compatibility laver where we could run the source code from the normal Mbed. Source code compatibility from Cortex-M and Cortex-A versions of Mbed would be fantastic.

Hi Chris, We plan to use PREEMPT_RT to provide real-time support in Mbed Linux OS. For requirements where really short latencies are required a dedicated microcontroller and Mbed OS may be worth considering.
Thanks,
