MBED Compiler GUI

Guys, I get so frustated with the compiler interface so I hope there is a simple fix. If I accidently hit the righthand mouse button while the curser is over the righthand scroll bar, the scoll bar just follows the cursor up and down the page as i move the mouse, I have tried contol eveything but cannot find a way to free the cursor from the scroll bar, the only way is to close the compiler page. Is there any other way to solve this. This did not happen using Windows IE but Windows Chrome, Edge and Firefox all do the same. I dont have IE at the moment.

Dave.

Hi, I tried to reproduce this behavior with Windows Chrome 41.0 and Windows Firefox 26.0. The result was exactly the same as with the MS Internet Explorer, that is, after hitting the right hand mouse button while the cursor is over the right hand scroll bar the scroll bar does not follow the cursor while moving up and down (unless I keep the right hand mouse button down while moving the mouse). The scroll bar gets locked for scrolling however after hitting the right hand mouse button while the cursor is over the right hand scroll bar and the middle mouse button is kept down. There is an extension to Chrome to get rid off this feature. Have a look at http://superuser.com/questions/44418/how-to-disable-the-middle-button-scrolling-in-chrome.

@Zoltan, Thanks for looking. Not sure what a middle button is these days, as I have two mice and they both have two keys, left and right, unless it's the wheel, which is not the problem. I should make it clear the problem occurs when I right click the scroll bar tab which travels between the two ends. This annoying feature has happened on both computers I have used, with different mice.

The middle button is usually handled with the wheel these days. In addition to rolling it one can also press it. For me the extension for Chrome works fine. I think it's worth to give it a try.
