Program disapeared from FLASH after removing power

When powered from USB of a PC and program blinks led in a while(1) cycle, then the removal of USB connection results in a state that program is not starting again when power (via USB) is restored. When checked with ST-LINK, it seems that the binary program disapeared from FLASH. Is this normal behaviour, and if so, what software solution is recommended to handle unpredictable power outs?

Hi István,

What method are you using to program the Nucleo board? The behavior you're seeing does not sound normal to me if you're using drag and drop programming.

Thanks, Brian

Hi, Brian

I Copy/Paste the bin image from the Downloads folder to the Nucleo drive.

The described behaviour is not random, It can be reproduced every time I remove USB connection while the program is running. I will check it with E5V setup. (And I will try drag and drop, as well)

I had similar problem and since I have added an external power supply it simply works
