CAN won't compile

The sample from the cookbook Canbus page won't compile. Has the CAN not been implemented on ST micro's ?

Hi, at the present the ST NUCLEO-F103 platform is supported by this user library. Zoltan

Hi, NUCLEO-F446RE board has been added to the CANnucleo library.

Short answer: Yes. CAN has not been implemented on the ST platforms. ST chose to list the parts on the mbed site as having CAN but then not implement the mbed API for CAN. The parts have CAN hardware but you have to use the ST libraries to use it (or write your own) rather than use the mbed ones.
