Virtual port no debug message out of Nucleo-L053R8 board

Hi,

I have a new Nucleo-L053R8 board, i wrote a hello world program to test it, that program will flashing LED1 on/off and print out a "hello world" to virtual port of board. now my problem is the LED1 can on/off as expected, but there is no debug message out from the virtual port(i setup terminal parameters to 9600/8/n/1). i have checked the SB13 and SB14 is ON, SB62 and SB63 is OFF, the MCU serial port (PA2/PA3) has connected to virtual port of ST-LINK MCU, but can not get any debug message out, does anyone faced such issue with Nucleo-L053R8 board?

thank you

Dear Yuqian,

did you install the ST-LINK/V2 driver and upgrade the firmware of the ST-LINK/V2-1 as reported in the platform home page ?

Kind regards
