How can I use MBED on Windows 7 Professional 64-bit?
When MBED is connected for the first time, Windows 7 Professional 64-bit recognizes that a new hardware has been connected, but fails to install the driver. I don't know if there is a driver installer available that can be downloaded and the proper driver can be installed before connecting the MBED to the PC. Can anyone point out to the solution to this problem please? Thank you much.

I've been using it with Win7-64 Pro for a few years now. Works fine - after you get the serial driver installed.
It should have successfully installed a driver as a file system, so you should be able to see the mbed.htm file on it. If that didn't work, then your experience is different than mine.
For serial over USB, I was a bit more challenged. If that is your issue, then check out the Windows Serial Configuration guide. I might have had to reboot - it was long ago so I'm not sure. But works fine after that.
