nRF51 DK and Samsung S4

Hello,

I tried the health thermometer example via the nRF Toolbox latest release. On HTM, I can see and connect to the "Therm" but once I connect I don't see any temperature reading.

I'm using the Samsung S4.

Any idea?

I am experiencing same problem... :-( Cant find what's wrong...

Hi,

I just built the Thermometer demo for the nRF51-DK. Using Nordic's MasterControlPanel, I'm able to connect; read; setup and receive notifications for temperature values. I'll ask a colleague to try the same with Samsung.

I’m currently not working with the nRF51-DK but I recall I succeeded when my Samsung S4 upgraded from KitKat to Lollipop Android version.

I have faced the same issue on my Samsung S4. When I use the nRF Master Control Panel App the following sequence are displayed:

Connect to D0:D1:35:41:DA:1B Discovering Services... Error (0x81): GATT INTERNAL ERROR Error (0x85); GATT ERROR

I have tried the demo using the nRF Master Control Panel App version 3.4.1 in a Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and it seems to work correctly. I also tried using a Samsung Galaxy S3 with same nRF Master Control Panel App version and it works correctly as well. Could you please provide more information about your environment so that I can try to reproduce the problem? i.e. App version and android version. Thanks
