How to use LPC1114FN28

I want to use lpc1114fn28. But when I insert usb cable, this message is displayed: OS X can't repair the disk "MBED." You can still open or copy files on the disk, but you can’t save changes to files on the disk. Back up the disk and reformat it as soon as you can. And I cannot copy files on the disk. What should I do? I don't know how to buck up the disk and reformat it.

I guess you are using Yosemite (Mac OS X 10.10).
Please find discussion here http://developer.mbed.org/forum/mbed/topic/5149/.

I am guessing. It might be because mac like Ubuntu. Doesn't wipe the 'disk' but moves it to trash. .....

So there is no longer any space.

Also have you updated firmware.

Ceri

Ceri, thank you for your advice. I emptied trash and tried to update firmware. Although updated it many times, using finder and terminal, I failed. What do you think is wrong? By the way, I can use LPC1768. Please give me more advice.
