QUESTION ABOUT THE RANGE

when i run the code u gave its working good only for about 30-40cm distance beyond which its not working,but the data sheet says its range is about 400cm.can you help me with this!

What is your target made of? What is the angle of the target in relation to the sensor?

Surface angle and material both have a big impact on the maximum range, to get maximum range you need a large hard flat surface that is at 90 degrees to the sensor.

The target is the floor which is made up of tiles and i kept the sensor at 90 degrees to the floor but the reading i am getting after a certain range is only around 50-60
