Initial Factory setting of Jumper for STM32F401RE.
My mail orderd STM32F401RE came without any Jumper setting, tried to set them as follow :
CN2 : both set of Jumper Set to ON. JP 5 set to E5V position JP6 set to ON.
Is this the correct setting ?
On startup I could see that the OTG drive has 500K memory, but once compiled with online compiler, there is an error reporting that the compiled file is 13KB while remaining memory has only 12KB. What is wrong here ? both set of CN2 jumper has been set to ON.
On the OTG there is a file name FAIL with the following content : The interface firmware FAILED to reset/halt the target MCU.
Please help me solve this problem...

Set JP 5 set to U5V position (to power from USB rather than external power). LED3 should now be on. Your failed flash problem was caused by missing powersupply for the target F401.
