CONNECTION PROBLEM KL25Z

the only way my computer recognizes the USB cable of my KL25Z is when I press the Reset button and connect the cable to the SDA port at the same time. I dont know what happened, I was following the instruction you have in your website, to update the firmware, i copied the archive being told to (20140530_k20dx128_kl25z_if_opensda.s19), and while disconnecting the USB cable came the problem. My laptop doesnt recognize my KL25Z unless I make the procedure explained and when it gets recognized, there's a green LED blinking for like, 3 seconds. Please help me.

Ottmar, I had the same issue and I solved it. Please follow the procedure given below: 1. On the KL 25Z board, hold the reset button down and connect the USB cable to the PC/laptop USB port; 2. The KL25Z enters into Bootloader mode; 3. Copy the file MSD-DEBUG-FRDM-KL25Z_Pemicro_v114.SDA into the KL25Z board while in the bootloader; 4. Disconnect the USB cord from the PC and connect again; 5. Now the KL25Z is ready to download and execute the programs from mbed; File is included below; Hope this helps.

I had similar problems, Try loading the original Rev.0200 Mbed firmware and see if you can load 'blinky'. If it works do not update the firmware at this stage otherwise the problem will return.

Thanks, but if i dont update the firmware, Am I still be able to download programs in my KL25Z? Or have another problem?

You should have no problem downloading programs unless you are using Windows 8.1 then there may possibly be an issue (I do not have windows 8.1 fortunately), however if it works okay for you then for the moment I would not update the firmware.
