sorry sir.. if i'm the user of RS232C interface model, what should i do? "please do not connect" directly means i should connect it with http://www.ebay.com/itm/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=251192441709&item=251192441709&lgeo=1&vectorid=229466#shId first?

No, you will require a MAX232 or similar IC, you can also get complete modules from ebay with them. RS232 has signal levels somewhere between -15V and 15V, which obviously is not something an mbed likes. The MAX232 translates this to TTL signal levels, which can be fed to an mbed.
