compiler does not let me select a hardware device
i cant get the compiler to see the NXP LPC device to compile to. when i attempt to add it, i get a help page on how to BUY an LPC!

Have you followed the htm file found inside the mbed? If you double click the htm file, while logged in to the mbed site it willl add your LPC board details to your profile. Then the compiler option will show you the NXP LPC board.

Ok, this does work, but if you follow the instructions out of the box, you will not have a device in your account. The documentation should make it clear that you have to create an account, then log into it, then follow the .htm link. The process was perfect up until that point.
