how to download new firmware without dev board
I have a arm chip connected to a pcb and have been programming binary files directly to the chip using the isp / serial port with a flash program a friend provided. However, I don't know how to go about downloading the "mbedmicrontroller_141212.if" file to the ARM chip. If I had the arm + dev board then I understand you can just drag and drop the file. But this is not the case if you don't a have the arm connected the to dev board.
Using: lpc1768 Os: windows 8
