binary files not staying on mbuino

I recently acquired the Mbuino 1.5. I followed the instructions on http://lgnap.helpcomputer.org/2014/08/first-steps-with-mbuino/ To start learning how to use my Mbuino. I am having an issue with keeping binary files on the Mbuino. I delete firmware.bin, move over my own file, restart the Mbuino, and my file is now gone and the firmware.bin file is back. Am I doing something wrong? how do I fix this?

Ignoring the file names have you verified what program it is running? Change the LED blink pattern, compile and download and see what happens. If could be that the filename isn't a good indicator.

I'm not getting any blink pattern at all. All 7 lights are just dimly on at all times the Mbuino is powered.

Odd. It should have shipped with a program installed that blinked the LEDs in a pattern. Sorry I can't help much more yet, mine is still in the post.

Thanks anyways. I wonder if there is official support for this product anywhere...

The file name change back to firmware.bin on the device after reset is normal.
