Ethernet urgent Help!
Hi,
I have a PCB that is already designed and need to find ethernet sockets to fit on the board, with the LPC1768
I have tried regular ethernet connections with the board and it does not work.
I suspect the pinouts given on the PCB do not match that of the socket. The Schematic for the Ethernet on the PCB is located below, i am wondering if anyone can point me in the direction of a socket that would match these.
Thanks.

I need to use rj45 Ethernet socket (Pulse Jack, J00-0045NL) for my project but I am not using mbed application board I need to connect Pulse Jack, J00-0045NL to LPC1768 can u help me with the physical connection please.
The datasheet:

Connect TD+- & RD+- from pins on page 3 to that on the mbed labelled the same:

Ground required connections, possibly snip LED indictor legs at the front base of connector if not using.

You may want to verify yourself, but here are 2 from my notes that seem to match:
Belmag 0817-1A1T-11 (has LEDs, you may need to cut pins)
MRJ-111001 (has LEDs, you may need to cut pins)
Google for the datasheet. There often are versions of the same product with same pinout etc, but without the LEDs. Check also for size and location of mounting holes. Conductivity test is simple, but not completely confirming test because of the transformers. And yes, you need the mags and my notes show both of the given types include these.

Andrea,
The Ethernet connector MUST have the magnetics built inside. It just isn't just a RJ45 connector.

Thanks for the info and reply much appreciated, starting understand this now.
Would the following work? ( HY911103A ), 3rd down on:

posted by 28 Aug 2014Hi Andrea, in answer to your private message: yes, the HY911103A should work. The datasheet shows matching pinout with your schematic diagram above. It would be best to GND pins 4 and 5. The LED pins may need to be cut.
