Need help to choose ODB II adapter for CAN interface on u-blox C027

Hello, I have a U-Blox C027 development board and looking for ODB II adapter cable. So far I found OBD-II Adapter for Arduino - Model A (UART) ( http://arduinodev.com/store/index.php?route=product/product&product_id=30 ).

1. Do I really need this? Can't I use connector pins directly to connect with car's ODB II Female port on one side and U-Blox C027 on other side?

2. Will "OBD-II Adapter for Arduino" work with u-blox C027? What are the other options?

3. There are four options available for Cable connector. Which one should I use? a. XH-2.5 connector (4Pin x 1) b. XH-2.5 connector (2Pin x 2) c. Dupont Connector (4Pin x 1) d. Dupont Connect (2Pin x 2)

4. There are two options for output voltage: 5.5 and 3.3 V. Which one should I use?

Thanks,
