Got nRF51822 mKIT today. Where is the product key needed to register with Nordic?

I got my mKIT today. It came in an antistatic bag. The bag contained the mKIT board, some sample of the nRF51822 chips. And a business card that said to login into the www.nordic.semi.com MyPage to add a product key.

Where is the product key? On-line they suggest it is on the box. There was no box. Just the antistatic bag. The label on the bag just says the model number nRF51822-mKIT, Revision 1.0.0 and the datecode 2014.14.

No product key! How do we get the product key? I don't see anything on the board itself that looks like a serial number or product key.

So, I plugged the board into my USB port to see if perhaps it is there. There I found a mbed.htm file similiar to the orginal MBED boards. Clicking on it, I was immediatedly taken to the mbed site and the board was added to my platforms on MBED site.

But, what I really want is access to the stuff we are suppose to be able to get off the Nordic site once we own a product.

Question relating to:

The nRF51822-mKIT is a low cost ARM mbed enabled development board for Bluetooth® Smart designs with the nRF51822 SoC. The kit gives access to all GPIO pins via pin headers …

I have the same issue. I received mine today as well

Click on support in your "My Page" and create a new support case asking for the product key. They will send you the product key. And you can add it to your "My Keys" or when a popup comes asking for it when you try to download locked source code.

Same issue, there are no product keys.

Are you sure you need a key? I registered the product ("My Products") and found the hardware design files including a schematic in Downloads.

I don't have a product key either. I opened a support ticket, but no feedback yet.

Registering the product does give you access to the mkit hardware design files, however it doesn't give you access to the nrf-sniffer application, or the bluetooth softdevice. Is it possible this software is only available for people who purchased the EK or DK kits?

I notice if you click on the mkit downloads there is only the design files listed. However if you click on the EK or DK kits all the various software files are listed with red locks.

I think im afraid to say you are correct! ,We need to purchase the EK or DK kits to be able to get to nrf-sniffer app. or the BLE softdevice stack.
