Xubuntu 13.10

I am running Xubuntu 13.10, trying to get the LED blinking example running on the new NUCLEO-F103RB. When I plug in the USB connector into my Laptops USB port, a 'NUCLEO' drive pops up and I can access it fine. The LD1 LED lights up green. However - after I try to move the compiled .bin file into this 'drive', I get an error message like "Failed to map /media/../NUCLEO' /media/.../NUCLEO': mmap() failed: No such device. The drive dissappears and after I try to replug, the LD1 LED flashes red. No access possible anymore. ??? Is there any special driver or commands I have to use for Linux ?

Have you updated to the latest interface firmware? The drive should just work like a normal drive. I have Ubuntu 12.04 installed so I will have a go with that to see if I get the same behaviour.

Yes, I did update the latest firmware. However - I switched to the LPC11U24 board and don't have any problems anymore like above. Maybe there is an issue with my F103.

I have Nucleo-F401RE, and I have the same problem uploading bin file on Ubuntu 14.04. I must say I'm so dispointed in this board, and should have done a bit of research before purchasing it. I don't know if there's an issue with the board itself since the same bin file can be copied from a Windows 7 machine.
