Compiler does not start under Safari

Hi,

I'm using Safari. When logged in on mbed and trying to start the compiler, it always reports when loading "an internal error has occured. please contact support". Any idea what is going wrong? I do not get further details on the error message.

Cheers,

Adrian

Only option to get to a newer version of Safari would have been to change from my OS 10.5.8 Leopard to at least Snow Leopard. The workaround with Chrome did not work either, as it required Snow Leopard at least either. So finally, I got an old version of Firefox which runs on 10.5.8 and where the compile runs on as well. Not a nice solution, definitely need to upgrade my OS at some time.

Hello Adrian,

Are you still encountering this issue? I just tried launching the compiler from Safari on my machine and it worked fine. I was using Safari Version 6.1 (7537.71) on Lion. I also tried Safari Version 7.0 (9537.71) on Mavericks and it worked fine there as well. I am not using the Beta version of the website.

Hi Adam, I realize that i'm quite outdated: Safari Version 5.0.6 (5533.22.3) and Mac OS X Version 10.5.8. I will give it a try with updating to a new Safari version.

What OS version are you running? A few others are having troubles with 10.6.8 but there are some workarounds (ie: use Chrome or update the OS).

I can't open the compiler with Mac OS X 10.6.8 and Safari 5.1.10.

Where are the work arounds documented?
