mbed issues with OS X Mavericks

I've just plugged my mbed in to my laptop for the first time in a few months and since I've upgraded to OS X Mavericks and find that I can't transfer files on to the mbed without Finder crashing - is anyone else having problems? Do I need to update anything?

I also have issues with both KL25Z and LPC812 on Mavericks. It recognizes the unit but it is disconnecting/reconnecting all the time and I get a file called "fail.txt" that says "TIMEOUT"

Both KL25Z and LPC1768 board work fine for me on Mavericks (Mid-2010 iMac).

What Boris said. I have a late 2011 MacBook Pro running Mavericks that works fine with an LPC1768 I haven't connected in months. I can copy binaries using either the Terminal app or Finder.
