Question:

When I load the compiler in IE7, I'm not able to use the cut and paste (Ctrl+c, Ctrl+v) features in the code window. It works fine in IE6 and Firefox.

Answer:

One of the new security features in IE7 is to block access to the clipboard.

If you are offered "Allow access" or "Don't allow" when you try to copy, select "Allow access". If you select "Don't allow", you will not be asked again and you will have to change the settings manually.

To work around this security control feature, start Internet Explorer 7, click Tools, and then click Internet Options. Click the Security tab, and Internet, and then click Custom Level. Under Scripting, set "Allow Programmatic clipboard access" to "Enable".
