REPL for Micro:Bit?

Hi,

I have previously coded a radio transmitter and radio receiver in MicroPython for 2 Micro:Bits to communicate with one another.

When in the MicroPython IDE, I have managed to display in the REPL what orientation the transmitting Micro:Bit is sending to the receiving Micro:Bit. Is there anyway to do this with MBed/Ubit? I need to send the data for a University project.
