In addition to the rail API, I've also published an implementation of Peter Drescher's excellent EaEpaper display driver interface compatible with the EM027BS013 (the existing driver is only compatible with the EM027AS182). This is available at https://developer.mbed.org/users/Leigh_LbR/code/EaEpaper_EM027BS013/. It utilities the existing EM027BS013 driver by Electronic Artists, but provides a much nicer interface.
